 It wasn't mentioned yet in this ticket, that the bug also exists in ssh2
 for PHP 5.6.x (I'm found it with PHP 5.6.36).
 [https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/41030#comment:2 Apparently], the
 fixed extension is not available for PHP 5.6.x, so users of PHP < 7 will
 continue to have this problem.
