 I tested this with a fresh install of WP 4.9.7. Apparently, the screens
 and installation process have already improved. See attached screenshots
 of three screens that help you through the installation now. Therefore, it
 seems like this ticket can be closed. If someone disagrees or thinks
 otherwise, please feel free to reopen.
