The good news is that the fix is coming out in a few days, in WP 4.9.3. In
the meantime maybe see if you can change IE11 to "standard" mode and let
us know if that fixes it.

@azaozz - interesting! I know IE11 is in compatibility mode for most of
our users, but it isn't for me. I just tried toggling on and off and
nothing changed. I also tried disabling TinyMCE Advanced to see if that
would change anything, but it did not.
I would LOVE to have everyone switch to Chrome, but it's almost impossible
to get some of our users to use two browsers (some of our intranet sites
are only compatible with IE -_-).
I'd be interested in seeing if 4.9.3 fixes this though...
