Comment:

 Can reproduce it too, only with audio and video (and audio and video
 playlists). No errors in the console, just the sandbox iframe body is
 empty. Guessing it's a side effect from updating MediaElement.js.

 A workaround for now is to switch to the Text tab and back, then the
 preview gets rendered.
