 Just want to quickly revive this ticket in regards to
 https://make.wordpress.org/core/2018/12/08/updating-the-minimum-php-
 version/ - it will be a few months, but we should probably kick off
 discussion soon.

 As a heads up, the Servehappy team will make sure to ship the initial
 parts of the project (information page, core notice, and WSOD protection)
 early enough so that there is enough time left before the actual version
 bump. The fact that WordPress will increase its requirements will also
 help as a good incentive for folks to update PHP.
