Comment:

 So it seem, after talking to gurus (at WordCamp London), that the initial
 patch would not be sufficient to handle pagination scenarios where ''Front
 Page'' and/or ''Home Page'' are not in the fist page of posts.

 Believe that this scenario could be handled in a different way, perhaps
 similar to how sticky-posts work. The thinking is to maybe have a method
 that can take a list of posts/ids to prioritise, and therefore can be used
 more widely, beyond just Front and Blog pages.
