 @ajoah If you have the rewrite rules for a multisite folder install you
 have the issue in both single & multisite installs. You can compare your
 .htaccess to the folder & subdomain rules shown at
 https://codex.wordpress.org/Multisite_Network_Administration#.htaccess_and_Mod_Rewrite
 .
