 and not just the permalink text.

 I don't think I agree with that. The new text shows what the permalink
 will look like once you click the Update button, but I wouldn't expect any
 changes to actually apply before I click the Update button.

 Can't reproduce this point. The old link is still correct until you click
 the Update button.
