 With [attachment:42348.diff] the “flash of unsearched content” returns.

 To reproduce:

 0. Go to Installed Themes.
 1. Search for “fifteen”.
 2. Click “Live Preview”.
 3. Close the Customizer.
 4. Notice all themes are shown for 500ms and then the list is updated to
 only show Twenty Seventeen again.

 So that needs to be avoided, while also ensuring that the searches are
 debounced.
