Comment:
While this is technically incorrect and should be changed to UTC,
WordPress code uses the term GMT in a bunch of places where UTC is
actually meant (eg. in the `post_date_gmt` field in the `wp_posts` table
and the `gmt_offset` option).
I wonder whether consistency is more desirable than absolute correctness.
