Comment:

 This needs some more work.

 * The fallback icon is very stark. On a Plugins screen with few plugins
 from w.org, the fallback icons are really in your face. The fallback ison
 should be smaller, or have less contrast, or should be blank.
 * The icons cause layout issues and consume valuable screen real estate on
 mobile devices.
 * I'm not the biggest fan of loading yet more assets from a third party
 host (`s.w.org`) but I guess that boat has sailed. The icons are
 ballooning my Plugins screen by nearly 1 MB though.
