explicitly stated for the plugin. It should mimic the plugin directory and
just show something.
Yeah, the update API needs to send back default icons in that case, just
like the regular plugins API. Just left a comment on the meta ticket as
well.

I don't think there should be such an option. It's such a small addition
and doesn't take much space.
