 So when is the Text Widget going to ditch the rich text (visual) editor
 already?

 HTML in my sites' widgets are getting wrecked because nobody thought about
 the backward compatibility issues.

 Only the HTML Widget should have visual editor functionality, the Text
 Widget should be left alone to function as it always had in the past.
 Markup needs to be preserved.

 We need a solution here quick guys...
