 I have been watching this ticket #42573 because customizer fails to load
 since the WP 4.9 upgrade on a one page site using [Avata Pro] template  I
 have been trying to complete an update for http://evolutioncovers.com  but
 have NO access to edit widgets or cover page sections etc since 4.9 was
 installed via WP update. Jumping in to inform that I tried two different
 [clear cache patches] without resolve in my case. Appreciate all of your
 work on this because - PHP (I know not} Will continue to watch and hope
 for a resolution.

 DISREGARD any changes made by my reply re{: Version changed from 4.9 to
 trunk} did not see until after submitting
