Comment:

 This affects JavaScript heavy sites such as the widget screen and
 customizer, as the fatal error prevents further code execution.

 A temporary workaround while we look into this is to change your own users
 language in the back-end (if you don't wish to change the language used
 for your site in general), this can be done from your profile page.
