 Thanks @harshbarach for the report!

 Just a quick note to mention that this looks to be a problem in 4.8.3 as
 well, so it's not a regression in 4.9.

 If I had to guess, it'd be that this issue has existed since the media
 grid was introduced, but haven't had the time to test back yet.
