Comment:

 I reopened this ticket because I still have a smiliar/same problem.
 At the current version (4.74 -and some below) self hosted videos arn't
 even autoplaying when
 - there is more than one on a site
 - even when only on of them is turned to autoplay.

 It seems that upstreaming didn't fix anything. Still, I thought it is also
 a wordpress problem when my autoplay shortcode attributes are ignored.
 Maybe it's just a bug based on the mediaelement behavior/error.
