 It's not about screen readers or any other assistive technology, it's
 about people. If you watch the [comment:82 test videos], you'll see that
 people are blocked from completing tasks by the changes you are advocating
 for.

 If you disagree so strongly with the importance of creating a product that
 is usable by everyone regardless of disability, you may wish to find other
 open source projects to contribute to. There are plenty of other open
 source projects that are less focused on being usable by all.
