 I very much like @michelleweber's suggested wording for now, and really
 look forward to reducing confusion even more by no longer hiding widget
 areas at all in a future iteration, as @melchoyce suggests. When we get to
 that point, we can always add any wording needed to prevent any chance of
 the opposite form of confusion arising.
