Comment (by zersiax):

@comfortking At the risk of feeding the trolls, I will bite this once.
Looking at your statements I can conclude a few things about you, feel
free to correct me if I'm wrong.

 * You think only covering the happy path is a good idea.
Internationalization is useless because everybody speaks English, security
is a myth because only 1 in x of all WordPress instances actually get
hacked. And yes, I know you are a translation contributor. Sweet irony,
 innit?
 * Designs for people who don't use high resolution screens are not
necessary, everyone should just get better screens.
 * Loading time of pages really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of
things either, everybody is using a 100 mbits fiber connection after all
 * Complaining at the world is the way to get things done/fixed, judging by
your submissions listed on your profile page.

These are all generalizations in the same vein as the completely
ridiculous one you just spouted. I will thank you to not insult me and
many others who use a screen reader again by turning us into non-entities.
Guess what, there are quite a few screen reader users who use WordPress,
either by choice or as a requirement for a job they're doing. There are
also quite a few screen reader users who are developers, programmers,
software engineers and computer scientists, who also work with WordPress
for a variety of purposes. These people, if your comment is to be
believed, have no right to use the platform the way it was meant to be
used. Thank you for making that decision for us, but nobody made you king.

I would've taken this up with you privately but there appears to be no
public contact details available to reach you at. I've said all I thought
needed to be said, now let's get back to the actual topic at hand.
Pointless bashing and personal attacks never got anyone anywhere and this
has a high potential to turn into a useless flame war on the ethics around
making products accessible. To be very honest with you, I can think of
about a dozen better uses of my sunday afternoon
