 It's really nice to see some revived interest here. Thanks to everyone for
 chiming in.

 @seancjones Some great points about user experience. If I was part of that
 2.5%, I'd would gratefully welcome someone telling me that I'm paying a
 web host for 10yr old defunct technology. But it would seem we're more
 afraid of "punishing" them. Feels like an irresponsible enablement of
 ignorance at the expense of progress.

 How far would one friendly dashboard notice go?

 "Hey guy, you're on a really old PHP version. You should consider asking
 your host to upgrade. Read this article for more info"

 That's a pretty simple place to start without punishing the users, while
 lighting a fire under negligent hosts.
