 Hi @flixos90,

 @westonruter and I have been looking into something similar with the
 changeset post type in #40922, at least in that it involves potentially
 changing default capabilities for an existing post type.

 What's best for attachment capabilities might not be best for changeset
 capabilities, but to the extent it would be useful to consider them
 consistently, I'd be happy to help.
