 Hi,

 I have recently come across an issue for uploading web fonts and favicon's
 to Media Library ... this has now become a problem on all of my (previous)
 sites and for some reason I cannot even upload web fonts (via WPML) on a
 fresh install of WP 4.5.3, let alone 4.7.1 ... would there have been a
 background update on older versions of WP, prior to 4.7.1? ...

 Even using '''Disable Real MIME Check''' (By Sergey Biryukov) has not
 helped ... although that '''did''' fix the favicon upload issue but has
 not done the same for web fonts ...
