 Citing #38680 (another ticket with the target-blank keyword):

 the usage of `target="_blank"` so it shouldn't be included in the default
 output.

 I tend to agree with that, especially since these links have always been
 like that and we're getting of `target="_blank"` in the admin as well.

 > However, the ongoing discussion has focused mainly on the admin screens
 so far, so there's the need to start taking into consideration what is the
 better option for the front-end too. Discussion can happen on this ticket
 or also on Slack, any feedback welcome.
