 Uh, sorry, should have explained better :)
 As in support embeds/views, formatting, etc. but not "exactly mimics". I
 meant this for the "back-end" of the implementation (load all TinyMCE
 plugins, process shortcodes, etc.), not for the UI.

 Yep, the mockup looks great. Don't think it needs more buttons. Can also
 add all the keyboard shortcuts as in the "main" editor.
