 > utilization of the readme file's version string is what many third party
 utilities rely on for accurate version reporting for WordPress

 These items should probably move to utilising the `Generator` meta fields
 or another source, I don't think that's enough of a reason to retain the
 version in the readme.html - especially when it can often be blocked or
 removed.
