 BuddyPress calls the function of it's own devising in BackPress (so
 nothing to worry about there).

 https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-espresso-decaf uses it as a filter.
 For example they filter `FHEE__EE_Capabilities__init_caps_map__caps`

 Almost everyone else has copies of `class WP_Roles` for some reason (and
 by 'everyone' I mean 4 plugins).

 The ONE plugin that calls this?
