 Cent signs are allowed in URLs, and they work just fine in WordPress
 slugs.

 Example:
 https://cloudup.com/cNWwTs1zGr5

 You might need to escape them as %C2%A2, perhaps. But Chrome seems to have
 no issues with them as-is.
