 I just wanted to chime in on what @jamietelin said: We would absolutely
 love to see support of other than standard ports, maybe at least ports
 commonly used for local development (think :8080, :8080, :8090). Or a way
 to extend WordPress Multisite to allow their usage (via hook or dropin)
 without hacking core.
