 Can someone please tell me what the status is on this problem?

 As a shared hosting company, we can't go an fix client's Wordpress
 installations the whole time due to a bug in Wordpress.

 One client said it's easier to use Joomla! than to try and fix this issue
 the whole time.

 I can confirm, I used the patch
 (https://core.trac.wordpress.org/attachment/ticket/36534/36534.2.diff) to
 one website's Wordpress files, but it made no difference.
