 Why exactly is this an issue?

 Links for the `category` taxonomy look like this: `wp-
 admin/edit.php?category_name=uncategorized`. For tags `wp-
 admin/edit.php?tag=foo` and for the custom taxonomy `foo` it is `wp-
 admin/edit.php?foo=baz`

 Filtering seems to work as expected.

 > The behaviour is different from the dropdown which seems to work as
 expected.

 The category dropdown uses a `cat=<id>` parameter, which also seems to
 work fine.
