Comment:

 The original issue was about nested shortcodes. After that, hidden
 characters (nbsp, etc.) came up, which doesn't seem to be a huge issue
 overall (first time I see it), so not sure if it's worth fixing. Anyway,
 it would be better off in a new ticket.
