Comment:

 Assuming the `aria-hidden` suggestion above isn't a good approach, I don't
 have further thoughts here currently. I'm sure there's a way to make this
 work well for everyone, but this needs some fresh ideas for making that
 happen in a logical way.

 Removing `has-`* kewords as this is still not resolved and that implies
 that there is a solution/resolution/direction.
