 Going to resurrect this and attempt to see if we can get this pushed
 through. (at WCUS Contributor Day right now)

 @boonebgorges I have some data regarding performance, real world data at
 scale more than tests. Yes, the individual query is slightly slower,
 however, the total query time overall is actually less. As described ^ in
 my 19 month old comment as well.

 Do we need '''more''' data around performance and '''more''' testing
 there?
