 I don't really see any necessity of removing this. Also to my
 understanding this should not be tagged as "defect". It does not block any
 functionality or doing anything wrong.

 Also a comment section above function body is always important. This one
 could be enhanced with proper comments, so I would rather go for an
 "enhancement" tag for this.
