 Following the current minimum requirement of PHP version 5.2.4 or greater
 (cf. https://codex.wordpress.org/Template:Server_requirements) and the
 absence of a PHP4 constructor, I think we can safely remove some obsolete
 code in ''cache.php''.

 Patch is attached.
