 Ran a few check and all changes by @mihai2u are working as expected. Just
 to further expound on on @afercia's comment about the `keydown` event,
 modern browsers recognize the action of `space` and `return` keys as a
 click `event`.


 @afercia if you see potential conflicts, I would say commit #31476 first,
 other than what you mentioned, it looks good to me.
