 Does the same thing happen with the latest [https://wordpress.org/nightly-
 builds/wordpress-latest.zip nightly build]? See
 https://make.wordpress.org/core/handbook/testing/beta/ for info on how to
 easily test it.

 I'm asking because there were quite a few bug fixes related to media
 uploads recently after the last release.
