 Same here. I saw it quite often, that people where looking for an option
 that there have seen earlier at the same page.

 Maybe we could display this unavailable option in a grey or make a little
 note, where you can see this option in the front end.

 I'm not sure, if you should display all option without any notification or
 the difference in the layout, because this could overload the customizer
 and confusing the user as well.
