 Hoping this ticket gets attention again. SVG has become a sort of standard
 for resolution independent vector graphics on the web, would be great if
 WordPress supported it (with the appropriate precautions for security,
 obviously). This conversation is beyond my technical knowledge, so just
 adding this +1 here to spark the conversation again :D
