 Sure. Like I said, it was a strawman proposal.  I choose `classes` simply
 because `wp-includes/includes` felt a bit redundant.  What would you
 propose as an alternate?

 No, as proposed it would be a new folder and it would -- by design -- only
 contain classes.

 That said, the name of the directory is not at all critical to the
 proposal.
