 Hi @dots - Thanks for working on this ticket!

 Unless there's a reason to believe that the existing tests are
 *incorrect*, it would be best to add some new tests for the specific bug
 we're trying to fix. [attachment:29785.2.diff] is an example of what such
 a test might look like.

 Regarding your proposed fix: Be sure to add a corresponding fix for the
 'time' `$strategy`.
