 to find a fit all situation here. If the tag cloud could be intelligent
 that would be great to see.

 I'd suggest maybe using "item/s" as we have already in various places in
 the admin to be both targeted and flexible at the same time. An item is a
 "thing" while not always having to be a "post" or a "topic", and certainly
 not a "thing" ;-)
