 Ideally, I think we want to find a way to split the task of generating the
 PDF thumbnail into a distinct task that happens apart from the initial
 upload, such that the attachment post is created when the attachment is
 uploaded, and then we kick off the thumbnail generation process and update
 the backbone view in the media library once the PDF images have been
 created.
