 I agree, it's time to look at this again.

 It's language that has the potential to be insulting, the potential to
 induce stress and can make the user feel like they are at fault for things
 they don't control. In the wrong circumstance, it doesn't seem fun.

 Softer language can reduce the likelihood of these potential problems.
