 Dragging an angled marker across a flat surface seems to be the most
 ubiquitous symbol for "highlight" according to a google search for
 "highlight icon" and the nounproject.com
 With that in mind, a combo of #1 and #2 would work best. #1 has the
 dragged mark, #2 looks more like a highlighter.

 style/24/highlight-128.png does a nice job of combining the 2 . Anyone
 want to try something like that?
