 Hi,

 Can you please let us know what version of MySQL/MariaDB/etc you're using,
 the PHP version, and the Database collation that's currently set (Check
 the database schema via phpmyadmin or similar and it should say something
 like `utf8_general_ci` or `utf8mb4_general_ci`). Did any of that change
 recently to your knowledge (upgraded MySQL, host migration, etc)

 This sounds like some kind of incompatibility between WordPress, MySQL and
 character encodings, like the older emoji's were encoded in the database
 differently to the newly added ones.
