Comment:

 Changing this is backwards compatibility break that I'm not really a fan
 of.

 The new filter introduced in [38603] allows for changing the password
 protected post behavior on any sites that are interested in doing so.

 I think we can close this as wontfix.  The behavior where one password can
 open up multiple posts is a feature at this point.
