 this calculation of `menuEdge` is incorrect after the CSS changes in
 r38648: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/browser/branches/4.7/src/wp-
 admin/js/nav-menu.js#L619 - I think this is whats breaking the drag
 action. before the change this returns 0, after it returns 299
