 Yeah, the patch only fixed the visual glitch. Seems to happen because the
 caret is in an absolute positioned element when the user presses Enter. FF
 inserts the attributes, then removes them as soon as the user starts to
 type or clicks anywhere.

 None of the other glitches is a regression, so thinking we can report them
 upstream and/or try to fix them in 4.8.
